Great Volleyball Shoe!!!

This shoe is fantastic. I spent about a week and a half reviewing every shoe known to man. I was pretty sure I wanted an Asic brand shoe as they generally hold up to wear and tear the best and have a pretty good reputation for quality and comfort. I'm glad I stuck with my gut! these are great! The women's are just like the men's shoe I'm pretty sure - and if you read the men's reviews -this shoe does not disappoint.
This will sound nuts and I don't every believe this kind of stuff when I read it in reviews but...here goes. I bought these and wore them to my volleyball practice that night, and I have to say that it was by far one of my best practices yet. I mean, I'm a skeptical person and I can't believe it was the shoe but I got 5 to 6 more blocks than I normally would that night. I also wore it right after purchasing for 12 hours straight at a tournament (about 5 to 6 games) and I didn't have any issues with pain or discomfort or needing to "break them in". If you are looking for a mid price, comfortable shoe for volleyball- this is it! |

These shoes have been great for our regular (twice weekly) racquetball games. They have great traction, fit snugly and comfortably, have good arch support and stay tied well. No complaints!

Good shoe. Tried them on in the store first to get the right size. Good price--about $10 cheaper than store.
Great shoes!

My daughter is very happy with her volleyball shoes and Amazon was cheaper than Dunhams Sporting Goods. Thanks Amazon!

The shoes work great now, but did take a few court-days to wear in and get good traction. The first couple of games, I lost traction on hard directional changes. Maybe there's some kind of coating on them when shipped that needs to be worn off? Anyway - the shoes are great now - fit just to specifications, good traction, nice feel for jumping.

Shoe size ran true to size. Really like these shoes. I do wish that there was a little more "cushioning" on the bottom, but overall I am really pleased. Good gripability on the court. I use these when I play badminton.
Great Shoes, be weary of size

I bought the red ones, and not only are they comfortable, they're stylish too! Be careful of the size, however. I usually wear size 37 Euro, 6.5 US. So I bought 6.5 naturally, but when I received the shoes, the Euro size was 37.5/38 -- half size too big. The cost to exchange the shoes for the right size was not worth it so I kept it.
Perfect for a beginner like me!

It's the only tennis shoe I've ever tried, but I'm satisfied with the look, the confort, the price and the shipping. Usually i wear 8 but I've tried it in a boutique before my order and it's a chance because I needed 8,5.
They are not large... Order a half point higher. |
Bummed on the court!

The shoes are great -- the only problem --I didn't receive the color I ordered. My daughter was very disappointed. We didn't have time to send them back and she didn't have school colors on her shoes. This is a huge deal when you are 14!!!
These run really small!!

Looks like these would be decent quality shoes, but they run probably a whole size small...pay for shipping and the return shipping????

bad shoes for raquetball. If they work for volleyball good for you, but they are too low for raquetball.I twisted my feet twice..last one was very bad. I wished I bought them in local store so I could return them.
