Tennis is one of few sports that is not unisex when it comes to uniform, meaning that both men and women wear completely different types of tennis apparel. Men wear shorts and women wear skirts, for example. It is important for you to choose shorts or tennis skirts that are of the right length and that fit correctly. When buying tennis shirts, you should choose a breathable synthetic cotton blend. Pure cotton may be light and airy, but it is also capable of absorbing moisture which will make you feel uncomfortable. Most top quality tennis apparel is light in color as most courts allow players to wear any light color clothing, and light colors do not absorb as much heat so will feel lighter and more comfortable on the court, even under the hot sun.
