Tennis shoes, which also referred to gym shoes or athletic shoes, are designed primarily to handle sporting activities and other strenuous activities. Tennis shoes should have an ample amount of cushioning as well as shock absorption, which will help when playing tennis on harder courts.

The upper part of the shoe is going to cover the fore and mid foot, and this is going to protect you from many types of injuries. Make sure that your tennis shoes fit well in the upper region of the shoe, as tightness or looseness may not protect you from injury.
