| okay,so they are a little larger than a tennis ball almost the size of a softball. They also move a little slower than a tennis ball but what an awsome way to introduce younger players to the game. Best of all peace a quiet. My kids love to hit them up on the walls and play various indoor games with the foam tennis balls. So far no marks and nothing has been broke. I would recommend this product not only for tennis practice but as a welcomed addition to any toy box. |

I am a USPTA certified tennis instructor specializing in making tennis fun for kids. These are fantastic balls that allow kids (or anyone) to have a fast learning curve in the sport. The ball has a perfectly decent amount of bounce to it. A lesser bounce than a regular tennis ball is desirable so the child has time to prepare to hit the ball. Still plenty enough bounce to rally. This is the greatest tool for students just learning to rally because the slower speed gives you time to move to the ball. Also a good choice to learn the volley, because a soft ball is less intimidating. If you mess up and it hits you, no pain. This makes it fun too. It looks like a nerf ball but has greater density to it so it reacts more like a tennis ball than a true nerf ball would. I bring a few of these everywhere in my bag to show parents. The other day I spent 20 minutes hitting one off the wall in the racquetball court. It can be useful for adults on the wall as you work to perfect your strokes. Less ball chasing, more ball contacts.
The only drawbacks to this ball are
1. It's costly. (But worth it)
2. Kids occasionally try to pick holes in it or rip it
3. Kids or parents sometimes think it is "not real tennis," (but you honestly can hit all your strokes with this).
This is an excellent training tool for anyone, but especially for kids ages 3-10. They work on hard court and clay courts. They are fairly quiet if you want to hit off the garage door without bothering anybody. They are promoted as part of the new "Quick Start" tennis program sponsored by the USTA.

V fun for children

| My kids & I use these to play "tennis," either by hitting the balls against the garage or on a paddle tennis court. The balls move slower & (unlike conventional tennis balls) therefore are actually hitable by children their age. Playing on a paddle tennis court is also great because the small size cuts down on the time spent chasing down missed shots. They've taken tennis lessons for some time, but much prefer playing this. |

| This is great for everyone who just want to have fun playing "tennis", but do not want to spend a lot of time learning it. My wife picked up the game in a few minutes, and started play like a good "tennis player". The speed is a little slower than the really tennis ball, it is a great fun for kids and family. |

| I use these foam Gamma balls in my beginning tennis instruction. They bounce well, are easy to hit and don't hurt when you get pegged. Kids are crazy about them too. |

| These practice balls are great for all levels of tennis players. All sorts of fun drills, especially quick volleys, can be devised using these soft, non-threatening balls. Both adults and children enjoy playing games with the Gamma Revolution Foam Balls. Instructors should make them part of their teaching equipment. |

| These balls are okay. They don't have alot of bounce. We were given a Wilson foam ball from a tennis pro at the tennis club, and it plays much better. |
