The Just Tennis Strung Head Liquid Metal LM Tennis Racquet is strong using head synthetic guy and is a MidPlus racquet with 4 ¼ to 5/8 oversize grips. This is a beautiful, famous racquet that Andrei Agassi used when he won his most recent United States Open Tennis tournament. It is intended for players that have full swings, and it is excellent for all kinds of court play. It has more power than what would normally be expected from an Agassi racquet. It has a head light balance and a low swing weight, meaning that it is a highly mobile tennis racquet that excels at half swing shots that are used primarily for net play and for serve returns.
When it comes to a tennis racquet that Andrei Agassi used, one might expect a low power, heavier racquet because Agassi brings his own power to the court. However, you will find that this particular racquet does have quite a bit of power to it, boosting the capabilities of your swing by putting power behind even the lightest swings, making it ideal for all kinds of play, including net play and when returning serves.
This is a highly mobile and fast swinging tennis racquet, making it ideal for many types of tennis players. The frame is constructed with sections of Liquid Metal, a really dense material, which is located in four different points around the racquet's head. This allows the racquet's head to be stabilized, giving it a greater shot accuracy, less vibration, and a much larger sweet spot. This racquet also utilizes something called Intellifibers in its throat, which allows it to further reduce the amount of vibration that it experiences. If you are looking for a durable tennis racquet that offers high durability with low vibration, the Liquid Metal frame tennis racquet is ideal for you. whether you choose the Mid Plus or the Oversize, you will find a powerful, light weight and easily portable tennis racquet that can add improvements to your game without much effort on your behalf.
The type of stringing that this racquet comes with is Head Synthetic Gut 16 string, which is a nice and durable playing string that plays very well, especially in the Liquid Metal Radical. The Mid Plus version of this racquet has a 98 head, and weighs 11.1 oz. This particular racquet is 27 inches long both in the Mid Plus and Oversize versions. The Mid Plus is 3 pts light, and the Oversize is 4 pts light. The swing weight of the Mid Plus is 10.0 and the swing weight of the Oversize is 9.9. The Oversize has a head of 107, and weighs .1 oz more at 11.2 oz when strung.
The Mid Plus and the Oversize tend to play quite similarly in comparison to one another. You may find that the Mid Plus has a slightly heavier feel to it, while the Oversize has a little bit more power. The tennis racquet that Agassi used to win his most recent matches was the Oversize version of this racquet.

The Wilson K Factor Six One Tour 90 is Roger Federer's new tennis racquet and is the sum of numerous subtle revisions in design and function that can often result in large changes in the performance of the racquet when they all come together and are perceived as a whole. The Wilson K Factor Six One Tour 90 is a perfect example of this concept because all of the changes in design and function that it has experienced are subtle in nature, and it is not until you put them all together that you finally realize what this powerful racquet is capable of. The Wilson K Factor Six One Tour 90 has a number of unique design revisions including the adoption of nCode and KFactor, and it also has a newer handle with a shorter pallet and more exposed graphite shaft.
Another subtle update that the Wilson K Factor Six One Tour 90 has experienced is the string spacing in the racquet's sweet spot, which has four cross strings along the PWS at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock on the face of the racquet, while other versions of this racquet have five cross strings in this area. With the Wilson K Factor Six One Tour 90, just like Roger Federer we are able to experience what four strings plays like. The Wilson K Factor Six One Tour 90 has been a big hit with reviewers, because it offers astounding stability coupled with excellent comfort, the perfect amount of control and feel, and a really smooth play overall. Hitting ground strokes using this racquet has certainly been exceptionally popular, and most people have found the racquet capable of delivering a great amount of depth, even with slice backhands and other types of swings.
The general consensus is this: If you want a tennis racquet that is going to provide comfort, easy playability, good control, excellent stability and a good feel, then the Wilson K Factor Six One Tour 90 is a good way to go. Not only will you be playing with a racquet that feels comfortable and delivers good power and control, but you will also be playing with a racquet that is endorsed by Roger Federer, one of the top seeded tennis players on the courts this year. If Roger Federer endorses the Wilson K Factor Six One Tour 90, you can rest assured that it's a worthwhile racquet to play with.

One of the most commonly misunderstood issues when it comes to playing the game of tennis is tennis racquet stringing tension. Despite being commonly misunderstood, this is a very important consideration that you need to put attention into, especially when you are just getting started in the game of tennis. What is really comes down to choosing the right stringing tension, the most important consideration to make is what works best for you. Despite this, there are still some basic guidelines that you should keep in mind.
- First of all, there is generally a tension range that each tennis racquet has based on its manufacturer.
The tension range for each racquet is generally displayed on the throat of the tennis racquet, so if you ever find yourself unsure, or if you cannot decide which is best for you, try a stringing tension that falls right in the middle of the range that is denoted on the throat of your chosen tennis racquet for good results. This is usually a decent one to start with and you can always make changes later if you need to. Decrease and increase the tension as needed until you are happy with the results.
- Since different tension ranges are recommended for different tennis racquets, there is no single tension range that can be recommended without knowing which racquet you are playing with.
You can follow the guidelines here, however, to come up with a good basic starting point and then adjust accordingly. Lower tension is capable of increasing power, and higher tension is capable of increasing control.
- Using a lower tension makes the racquet behave almost like a trampoline, where the ball hits, the strings form a pocket, and your swing shoots the ball out of the pocket.
This is a fairly decent working metaphor of how a lower tension tennis racquet is going to behave. The result is more power, but less control.
- Using a higher tension causes the racquet to act more like a brick wall or a board.
The ball flattens out more, and this allows the strings to bite down on the ball more effectively, providing more control but a loss of power in the process. Many players tend to prefer tighter strings, but you may not feel comfortable with this when you are just learning how to play.
Racquet string tension is going to feel different to different players and in different racquets. Some racquets are stiff and others are flexible. One tension may feel right for one racquet and completely wrong for the next. What it really comes down to is what your focus is on the court, and what your personal preference is. Try different tensions until you are comfortable with the feel and the results, and stick to that tension range until you change racquets and need to start again with a completely different string tension range.

Shots that hit the sweet spot felt like butter thanks to the optimal open string pattern.
Racquet testers have been impressed with the control, feel and stability offered by the Babolat Pure Storm Tour with volleys. This racquet offers a generous sweet spot with a good punch. The Babolat Pure Storm Tour also provides plenty of spin and control when it comes to serves. Some people have found that it offers a lack in pace, but this is not noticeable enough for many players to notice. Players have also been able to notice successful returns with the Babolat Pure Storm Tour, and most players have been able to get the racquet to do what they wanted without much trouble, meaning that this racquet is providing an adequate amount of control, and is good for new players who are just getting a feel for their capabilities on the court.

November 14th, 2008 — Games, Product Review, Tennis
The Nintendo Wii system has become very popular among sports fans, simply because of the advanced functionality of being able to actually swing instead of using a controller with many of the games. Top Spin 3, one of the latest tennis games for Wii has skyrocketed to success, so we had to give it a try and see if it was worth all the hype. We were pleasantly surprised by many of the features, and although there is no replacement for the real game, this is a fun way to kill an afternoon, or to get a little practice in when you can’t get on the courts.
The main features of the game include the ability to play against real tennis stars, and for many this is a dream come true. You control the game by using the Wii remote, just like you would a regular tennis racquet, complete with overhands and backhands. We would have liked to have seen the inclusion of a special racquet with the game to give it a better overall feel, but we found the remote produced very realistic actions.
If you want to play against your friends, the new split screen mode is spectacular and allows you to see how each of you are playing at the exact same time. This was probably one of the best features in our opinion and we found it to be a lot of fun. The included tutorials will walk new players through the game and how to control the remote, and once again, we found these to be very useful.
We highly recommend using the tournament mode to become better at the game. In this mode, you’ll be playing eleven games on the road to winning the championship and this is great fun mixed with some great real life exercise. The competitive aspects of the game make it enjoyable and should interest kids to really take part and have fun. Overall, we found this to be one of the best tennis games currently on the market, and certainly our favorite for Wii, despite a few drawbacks.
We loved the game and highly recommend it both to tennis fans and sports fans in general. In fact, after a few turns, even the most anti-tennis person may find themselves changing their mind. The game is fast paced and has numerous options to keep you interested for a long time. While it’s not exactly like playing tennis, it’s as close as you can come and it looks like it’s only going to get better with future releases.
This is a great game for kids if you’re trying to get them to be more active and take part in sports. You never know, you may have a future Sampras or Williams on your hands once they give this game a try and discover that they love tennis. It’s a great gift and the price is quite low considering the cost of similar games.

Having the right tennis equipment is a vital part of improving one's game. Sure, experience and skill are the most important part of playing well, but with the wrong equipment, a good player can easily have trouble winning matches. Everyone is going to have different requirements when it comes to choosing the right tennis gear, because there is different equipment out there to meet different needs and goals. However, there are some basic tips that will help you acquire the right gear, especially when just getting started in the game of tennis, or when you need to improve the gear that you have but do not have a specific goal in mind aside from a better game.
There are three primary categories that tennis racquets fall under, and numerous additional characteristics that can be customized for your needs. The three tennis racquet categories are power or game improvement racquets, 'tweener racquets and control or player's racquets.
Power or game improvement racquets are power-oriented racquets that offer oversized heads, light weight and are stiffer and balanced head heavy to retain a good amount of weight in the hitting zone. These racquets are designed for players who swing shorter or slower and want more power.
'Tweener racquets offer a blend of features between game improvement and player's racquets, tending to be lighter and balanced in different ways with extended lengths and smaller heads. These racquets are ideal for low-medium or medium-high power, and are most ideal for intermediate to advanced tennis players that want increased maneuverability.
Control or player's tennis racquets are ideal for professional players and other high level players with heavier weights, smaller heads and thinner beams. The balanced head is light so that maneuverability can be maintained. These are low power racquets because the player is expected to provide his or her own power.
There are other facets of construction that affect a tennis racquet besides simply the main purpose it was designed for. Tennis racquets can be designed custom to suit your needs, allowing you to choose the right size, flexibility, maneuverability, weight, balance and other details that will impact your game play. Choosing a custom tennis racquet will allow you to find the right fit for your game play, but if you fall into any of the above categories there is no reason why a commercial tennis racquet would be unable to meet your basic needs on the tennis court.
Choosing the right tennis apparel may not seem like a big deal, but having loose fitting, comfortable clothing to play in is an important part of making sure you can move as you need to during the game. Tennis players are required to move about considerably on the court, which requires apparel that is comfortable and allows for free movement. Choosing tennis specific apparel is ideal because these pieces of clothing were designed specifically to be accommodating to a busy, bustling tennis player.
There is no right or wrong way to choose a tennis bag, as long as the bag you choose can reasonably accommodate your gear. Tennis players are usually carrying around apparel, tennis racquets and balls and other important gear, and your tennis bag should be able to easily accommodate all of this gear. If your tennis bag carries all of your necessary gear in a way that allows you to access things as you need them, then you have certainly selected the right tennis bag for your individual needs.
The bottom line when choosing a tennis ball is that you should test out various options and choose the one that best adapts to your game and that lasts longer than other options. Choose the right ball for your own game play, rather than taking a recommendation from another player, because each and every tennis game is different, and tennis ball needs tend to be unique from one player to the next.
